In the middle of 2020 Veronica Schmalschläger joined the Synapse Research Institute team as a Lab technician. Initially, she was responsible for carrying out clinical studies and the validation process of medical devices (in development). Over the years this was further expanded by logistically organizing clinical studies, performing contract research and executing validation and FDA studies. Her focus is mainly on thrombin generation, STA-R Max, STA Compact, ST Genesiia and the SthemO devices. She now combines her technical expertise, organization skills and personal approach to become Chief analyst. For this position she has completed relevant courses.
Veronica graduated as a MBO lab technician from the secondary vocational education, specialized in biotechnology at Vista college in Sittard.
