At the beginning of September 2022 Anouk Groenheide joined the Synapse Research Institute team as a Lab technician. She specializes in the whole blood thrombin generation assay, the VWF multimer gel assay and multiple STA-R Max, STA Compact and SthemO techniques. A pivotal part of Anouk’s position is the guidance and help she provides (PhD) students, teaching them these techniques and general lab protocols. As part of the Synapse team, she is strongly involved in both clinical research and contract research.
Anouk graduated as a MBO lab technician from the secondary vocational education study Biotechnology at Vista College of Sittard, after which she specialized during her bachelor in Biomedical sciences at the Zuyd University of Heerlen. During her graduate internship at Synapse she specialized in the whole blood thrombin generation assay.
